Meet Our Leadership
We are committed to leading with humility, integrity, and faithfulness to the truth of God's Word.
We believe the Holy Scriptures, as originally given by God, are divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
Statement of Faith
The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, the final standard for faith and practice.
The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power and glory, yet distinct in their persons and work.
God the Father
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He orders and sustains all things according to His sovereign will.
God the Son
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who became fully man while remaining fully God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now intercedes for His people. He will return again in glory to judge the living and the dead.
God the Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, and empowers all believers for holy living and service.
Humanity and Sin
We believe that all people are created in the image of God but are fallen through Adam’s sin, separated from God, and in need of salvation. Apart from God’s grace, humanity is lost and without hope.

Salvation
We believe salvation is the free gift of God’s grace, received by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. We are justified by His blood, reconciled to God, and granted eternal life. True faith will result in repentance, obedience, and perseverance.
The Church
We believe the universal Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers. The local church is God’s ordained community for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission. Christ is the head of the Church, and every believer is called to use their gifts for its growth and service.
The Ordinances
We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances instituted by Christ. Baptism is an outward expression of faith and union with Christ. The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance of His sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until He comes again.
The Christian Life
We believe that followers of Christ are called to live in holiness, love, and obedience to God’s Word. By the Spirit’s power, we are to grow in Christlikeness, bear witness to the gospel, and serve others.
Last Things
We believe in the blessed hope of the personal, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ. The dead will be raised, and all people will face final judgment. The redeemed will inherit eternal life in the presence of God, while the unbelieving will face eternal separation from Him.
Our Calling
At The Lighthouse, we believe the Church has done an incredible job of proclaiming the heart of the Gospel, as written in Romans 10:9:
“…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
We thank God that so many today believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Yet, in John 8:31–32, Jesus speaks to those who already believed in Him and says:
“If you continue in My word, you really are My disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
This reveals something important: not all believers are disciples, but all true disciples are believers. Jesus didn’t just call us to believe—He called us to follow, to live out our faith, and to grow in obedience to His Word.
In Matthew 28:19–20, Jesus gave us our mission:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you.”
The early Church responded to this call. Acts 6:7 tells us,
“…the number of the disciples in Jerusalem multiplied greatly…”
But what does it truly mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ? How do we become one—and how do we lead others to do the same?
At The Lighthouse, this is our calling:
To help individuals move from belief to discipleship, and to empower the body of Christ to fulfill His great commission.
Jesus said:
“Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
— Matthew 4:19
